Frequently Asked Questions

How would you describe your photography style?

I specialize in documentary-style wedding photography with a creative and timeless touch. I focus on real moments, honest emotion, and natural light, blending candid storytelling with beautiful, intentional portraits.

Do you travel for weddings?

Absolutely! I'm currently based in Austin, but I love photographing weddings across the country—and even internationally. I don’t charge travel fees for Texas and Ohio Wedings. For destination weddings, travel and accommodation fees are discussed up front with no hidden costs.

How many photos will we receive, and when?

You’ll receive a curated gallery of 500–800 edited high-resolution images (depending on the coverage) within 6–8 weeks of your wedding. I also send a preview gallery within one week to get you excited.

Do you offer albums or prints?

Yes! I offer heirloom-quality albums, print boxes, and wall art. These are designed in-house with your favorite images to help you relive your day in a tangible, lasting way.

Can we meet before booking?

Of course! I always recommend a phone call, Zoom, or in-person coffee to make sure we’re the right fit. This gives you a chance to ask questions and get to know me before moving forward.

Do you work with a second shooter?

Sometimes, but not always. Depends on the wedding, but having 2 photographers allows us to cover multiple angles and moments—like getting ready in different locations or capturing both your reactions during the ceremony.

What happens if it rains or there’s bad weather?

We roll with it! Some of the most romantic and memorable images happen in imperfect weather. I always scout indoor and covered locations just in case and bring weather-ready gear to ensure we’re covered.

Are you insured?

Yes, I carry full liability insurance and can provide proof to your venue if needed. This is something every professional photographer should have.

What if we’re awkward in front of the camera?

You’re not alone—most couples say this! My approach is relaxed and natural, and I’ll gently guide you through poses and prompts that feel authentic to who you are. You’ll be amazed at how fun and easy it actually feels.
